#8 Finding photos and online generators

Found on www.tartans.scotland.net, these are two tartans that could be claimed by my mother's family. The one with the larger squares is a modern tartan for the MacKirdy clan of Bute (from the 1930s or so) and the one with the smaller squares is a traditional tartan of the Lamonts, which according to my mother the Munn family of Bute would wear. Maybe I can begin to create a 21st century tartan for the Munn/McCurdy descendants out here on the Pacific Rim?

I'll try that in my next blog.
